Overview
             The collection contains two manuscript volumes of notes, 1786 Jan. 12-[17]86 Apr. 5, taken by an unknown author of lectures given by Alexander Monro, 1737-1817. Alexander Monro held the chair of anatomy at the University of Edinburgh during the period the notes were recorded.
