Overview
The College of Physicians Early Records document some of the College of Physicians' earliest activities, including attempts by Fellows to diagnose and treat the 1793 yellow fever epidemic in Philadelphia. The collection, which was discovered by chance in 2001 by College foreman Leroy Green, contains letters, manuscripts, and committee reports. This small collection contains negative photostat copies of letters and other documents relating to Benjamin Rush and his practice in the Army.
