Correspondence between Dr. W. Benson Harer and Merck Sharp and Dohme research laboratories (now Merck Pharmaceuticals). Drug evaluations mentioned include the analgesic compound anileridine/"Leritine" (1957). Evaluations also include drug combinations Hydrodiuril with meprobamate and Hydrodiuril with ethisterone (1959-1960) for the treatment of "premenstrual tension syndrome," now known as premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
