Scope and Contents note
Notes taken from lectures by William Darrach at the University of Pennsylvania by C. G. Strohecker, 1845-1846. Notes are on diseases, including influenza, yellow fever, dropsy, typhus fever, small pox, and various inflammations. The volume includes some color illustrations and a syllabus of Dr. Darrach's lectures. There are also a number of poems at the back of the volume.

Charles Michael notes on lectures from Washington University of Baltimore

Overview
This collection contains two volumes of lectures notes of Charles Michael, a medical student at the Washington University of Baltimore, dating from 1829 to 1831. One volume covers notes from a course on midwifery taught by a Dr. Handy. The other volume contains notes from the theory and practice of medicine by J.H. Miller, M.D. Not much is known about Charles Michael. This collection was discovered during a survey in the summer and fall of 2015

Charles Osgood correspondence

Scope and Contents note
This collection consists of five letters from Charles Osgood to Benjamin Dansard, who may have been a sales agent for Osgood in Monroe, Michigan. The letters were written between 1841 and 1849 and discuss business affairs between the two men, including shipments of and payment for patent medicine, real estate in Monroe owned by Osgood, and travel plans. The letters also discuss the general business environment of Monroe.

The three Charles P. Mercer notebooks contain a record of his
education in the University of Pennsylvania's Department of
Medicine, 1887-1890. Mercer describes cases presented at the Hospital of the University
of Pennsylvania during the clinical instruction of Francis X.
Dercum, William Osler, William Pepper, and Horatio C. Wood.
Several of Osler's cases were presented at Philadelphia Hospital
and the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Hospital and Infirmary for
Nervous Diseases. ...

This is a collection of photographs of Chevalier Jackson and prints of his etchings. There are a series of framed photographs of students enrolled in the course in brochoscopy Jackson taught at the University of Pennsylvania, and several photographs of Jackson inscribed to George Pilling. The etchings include images of Old Blockley, Pennsylvania Hospital, Women's Medical College, and Sunrise Mills in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania.
