The collection consists of Myles Synnott's diploma from
Jefferson Medical College, 1831, and financial records, 1834-1866,
from his Glassboro practice. These financial records consist
of a daybook, 1854-1861, with a chronological listing of patients
and a summary of the transaction, and four ledgers, numbered
B through E, 18341866. The ledgers are organized by name of
patient with the date and reason for transaction. Each volume

This is a letter written by Nathaniel Chapman, in Philadelphia, Pa., to a Dr. Welford, and is dated 19 July 1839. The letter discusses the case of Mr. Alexander, who suffered from a tumor in his bowel, and offers suggestions for treatment. The collection includes a typed transcription of the letter.
