Overview

Stanley A. Plotkin, M.D., has authored and co-authored over 700 publications and developed the standard rubella vaccination which is used worldwide. He is the co-developer of the pentavalent rotavirus vaccine, and has worked extensively on the development and application of other vaccines including anthrax, oral polio, rabies, varicella, and cytomegalovirus.
