Biographical / Historical

The Medical Society of New Haven County, Conn., was established on 5 Jan. 1784 to promote professional intercourse and regulate fees. A Committee of Correspondence was formed later in 1784. The society published a volume of its cases in 1788. After the formation of the Connecticut Medical Society in 1792, the New Haven society met irregularly.
