Biographical / Historical
Robert Lewis Weber was born in Pottsville, Pa., on 15 Oct. 1837. He received an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1858. In 1859, Weber became an assistant surgeon in the United States Navy; in 1863, he was promoted to surgeon. Weber died in Philadelphia on 3 or 13 Dec. 1884.
