Arthur K. Asbury (b. 1928), Van Meter Professor of Neurology Emeritus, is an internationally recognized neurologist, best known for his clinical and experimental studies of peripheral neuropathies. Most of his career was spent at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he was a clinician, educator, researcher, and administrator. Scope and Contents
This collection consists of photographs, negatives, pencil drawings, and other images related to Dr. Oscar Batson's work. It was donated to the Mütter Museum by his wife, Mrs. Eleanor Batson, along with numerous medical instruments and pathological specimens. The collection of photographs was transferred to the Library on September 22, 2016.
