             This small collection of papers of Margaret Castex Sturgis touches 
on many aspects of her medical career and interests during her 
time in the Philadelphia area.  The collection is particularly

             Sylvanus Stall (18 October 1847 – 6 November 1915) was a United States Lutheran pastor, most famous for his 1897 sex education and anti-masturbation book What A Young Boy Ought To Know and its many sequels.              During the first World War the Canadian Expeditionary Forces (CEF) were particularly concerned with the number of cases of sexually transmitted infections (STIs, then called venereal disease).
