This collection contains two volumes of lectures notes of Charles Michael, a medical student at the Washington University of Baltimore, dating from 1829 to 1831. One volume covers notes from a course on midwifery taught by a Dr. Handy. The other volume contains notes from the theory and practice of medicine by J.H.
