Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Records of the Anti-Vaccination Society of America consist of one bound volume containing the Society’s certificate of incorporation (1885), their constitution and bylaws, and meeting minutes beginning in 1889. Also included is one folder of correspondence, reports, and other documents relating to the Society’s work. This includes an “Act To provide for a commission to investigate the nature and value of vaccination, anti-toxine, seropathy and other alleged prophylactics, and to appropriate a sum of money for its expenses” with handwritten edits.
